Hot Rock Steakhouse sits on Buck Street in Bradford and draws steady crowds because every diner receives a slab of volcanic stone heated to 440 °C. The steak arrives raw - you set it on the stone plus slice off bite sized pieces until the meat is exactly as pink or as well done as you want. The same stones work for lamb, chicken, salmon or king prawns if you prefer something other than beef.
